FISHING COMPETITIONS: take place on Sunday 20th May 2012 and Sunday 9th September 2012

These competitions are held each year and are open to all members. Cost to enter is free and whatever you catch on the day does not affect your yearly catch limits. To enter these competitions please look out for the attendance sheet which will be available in the Clubhouse shortly before all competitions.  Should you require further information regarding the fishing competitions please look out for details in the Clubhouse.

CHAIRMAN’S SOCIAL EVENING: Saturday 21st July 2012, 7.30pm, The Clubhouse

All members and partners are invited to the Chairman’ s Social evening which is held every year at the fishery. It is an opportunity to meet each other along with Council members. Food and Drinks are provided free of charge, so please come along and join in the fun.

WORKING PARTIES:  

Pre-Season Working Party: Sunday 18th March 2012

End of Season Working Party: Sunday 28th October 2012

Volunteers are required at the beginning of the season to put out all the benches, boats and generally make sure that all equipment is ready for the season ahead.  Volunteers are again required at the end of the season to ensure that all equipment is securely put away for the winter months.  Bacon butties are available on both occasions for all that attend.

END OF SEASON MEETING: Sunday 4th November 2012, The Clubhouse

SEASON ENDS: Friday 30th November 2012

FLY TYING LESSONS: take place for members, dates to be advised, but are normally held during the winter months and the closed season. Lessons are conducted by a member of the club. Details will be announced at the end of the season.
